Toasted Almond Cheese Sandwich

2 slices whole wheat bread
1/2 cup tomatoes -- chopped
1/2 cup part skim Mozzarella cheese -- grated
1/3 cup sliced natural almonds -- toasted
1 piece green onion -- minced
salt and black pepper -- to taste
Toast bread. Toss remaining ingredients together and spread evenly on bread slices. Broil to melt cheese, approximately 2 minutes, and serve immediately.
