    Tennessee Rib Rub

    Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
    -------- ------------ --------------------------------
    2 tablespoons black pepper -- coarsely ground
    2 tablespoons sweet paprika
    1 tablespoon sugar
    1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon chili powder
    1 teaspoon onion powder
    1/2 teaspoon dry mustard

    In a small bowl, stir together all of the ingredients. Use immediately or store in a tightly covered container for up to 1 month.

    Rub onto the pork and let stand at room temperature 30 minutes or refrigerate for 2 to 8 hours before grilling.
