Pickled Beets

16 ounces canned sliced beets -- drain and reserve liquid
1/4 cup beet juice
1 small onion -- thinly sliced
1/3 cup cider vinegar
1 tablespoon Splenda
2-3 cloves
Recipe
Combine beets with onion and cloves. Combine beet liquid, vinegar, Splenda; bring to a boil. Pour over beets; toss until well coated.
Chill at least 1 hour.
