    Apple Pie Filling

    List of Ingredients

    7 quarts apples (peeled and sliced)
    3 Tbsp. salt
    water to cover apples
    Combine and let sit while preparing the glaze

    Glaze
    4 1/5 cups sugar
    1 cup corn starch
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    3 Tbsp. cinnamon
    10 cups water
    stir ingredients together until smooth. Heat until thickens.
    Take off heat and stir in 4 Tbsp. lemon juice

    Fill bottles as full as you can with apples. Pour 1/2 cup glaze over the apples.

    Hot water bath for 30 minutes.
