    List of Ingredients




    3 quarts water or beef broth
    3 carrots sliced thin ***(reduce to 1 carrot for flavor)
    2 stalks celery sliced
    1 large turnip
    1 med onion diced ***(reduce to ½ onion)
    2 cups dice cabbage
    2 med potatoes diced ***(replace with an extra turnip)
    2 bay leaves (remove bay leaves before serving)
    2 lbs lean ground beef ***(add more meat if you like)

    Recipe



    Add all vegetables to a stock pot, add water or broth bring to a slow boil. Boil until vegetables start to get tender. At this point pinch off pieces of the raw lean ground beef and drop into pot and cook until till meat is cooked thoroughly. Approx 15 minutes.
