Homemade Macaroni and Cheese

List of Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 tablespoons cheese
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 2 beaten eggs
- Dash of Tabasco sauce
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 pound cooked macaroni
- Several cups of grated cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Mix the breadcrumbs, melted butter, and the cheese for the crusty topping and set aside.
- Combine the evaporated milk, the beaten eggs, Tabasco and dry mustard. Add 2/3 of the mixture to a kettle of the cooked macaroni. Add the cheese and cook on low heat, stirring until all the cheese melts.
- Add the rest of the mixture to the macaroni slowly, so as not to scramble the eggs.
- Once everything is melted together, pour the macaroni mix into a baking pan and add the breadcrumb topping.
- Put under the broiler for a few minutes, so set.
