    Recipe Introduction


    This is a favorite recipe for people who don't like spicy chili. In fact, we used it for church and school fundraisers because it's not too spicy.

    List of Ingredients




    1 lb. hamburger
    ½ c. onion, chopped
    ¾ c. warer
    ½ c. green pepper, chopped
    1T. chili powder
    ½ t. salt
    ¼ t. pepper
    ¼ t. hot pepper sauce
    ¼ t. dried garlic
    2 cans tomatoes
    1 can tomato soup
    6 oz. tomato paste
    4 oz. green chilies
    1 can kidney beans

    Recipe



    Brown ground beef with onion and green peppers; drain. In large saucepan, combine all ingredients except beans. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 1½-2 hours, stirring occasionally. Stir in beans; simmer until thoroughly heated. Garnish as desired.
    Makes 8-10 servings
