    Here's a breakfast dish that will everyone's mouth watering. This is Mmmm..., Mmmm..., Mmmm... good!!!

    List of Ingredients




    3/4 Pound Sausage (12 Links)
    1 Egg
    1 Tablespoon Sugar
    3/4 Cup Milk
    1/2 Cup All-Bran
    1 Tablespoon Melted Shortening
    1 Cup Sifted Flour
    2 1/2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
    1/2 Teaspoon Salt
    1/3 Cup Cornmeal

    Recipe



    Simmer sausage for 10 minutes in just enough water to cover. Drain well, saving liquid. Beat egg well; add sugar and milk. Stir in All-Bran and melted, cooled shortening. Sift flour, baking powder, salt and cornmeal together; add to All-Bran mixture, stirring until liquid and dry ingredients are combined. Grease baking dish well. Arrange sausages like spokes of wheel in bottom of pan. Cover with batter. Bake in moderately hot oven (425 degrees) about 25 minutes. Serve at once with creamy gravy made of sausage liquid and milk. Yields 6 servings (8 inch round pan).
