Ken's Favorite French Toast

Recipe Introduction
As the title says, this is my favorite way to fix French toast. I don't need the fancy stuffings or other do-dads, just sprinkle on the confectioner's sugar and pour on the syrup.
List of Ingredients
1 Tablespoon Sugar
2 Eggs
1/2 Cup Milk
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
6 Slices Bread
Butter
Confectioner's Sugar (Optional)
Syrup (Type Is Your Choice)Recipe
Beat in a bowl with rotary egg beater the sugar, eggs, milk, salt and vanilla. Heat a heavy skillet or griddle to medium. Dip both sides of bread into coating mixture. Place in skillet or on griddle. Brown both sides. Top with butter, confectioner's sugar (optional) and syrup.
