    These great lemon cookies where baked by my Grandmother every Christmas. Try them, you'll love them!

    List of Ingredients




    1/2 Cup Sugar
    1 Egg
    2 Tablespoons Milk
    1/4 Cup Shortening
    1 Cup Flour
    1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
    1 Teaspoon Lemon Flavoring

    Recipe



    Cream shortening and sugar together, add beaten egg and cream well. Add flavoring, milk and flour then mix well. Drop by heaping teaspoons full on greased and floured baking sheet. Top with nuts, raisens or candy decorations. Bake at 350 degrees until a light golden brown.
