    These cookies are absolutely wonderful. If President Nixon loved them then, they must be great.

    List of Ingredients




    1/2 Cup Sifted Flour
    1/4 Teaspoon Baking Powder
    1/2 Teaspoon Salt
    1/4 Cup Soft Butter
    1/2 Cup Sugar
    1 Egg
    1 1/2 Teaspoons Vanilla
    1 1/2 Squares Melted Chocolate
    2 Cups Walnut Meats

    Recipe



    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt, mix butter and sugar until creamy. Add egg and vanilla and mix well. Mix in chocolate and then the flour mixture. Fold in the nuts and drop by teaspoonsful, one inch apart on a greased cookie sheet. Makes 2 1/2 dozen cookies.
