    These dumplings are absolutely delicious. Try them with a heaping helping of whipped cream on top.

    List of Ingredients




    2 1/2 Cups Fresh Blueberries
    1/3 Cup Sugar
    Dash Of Salt
    1 Cup Water
    1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
    1 Cup All-Purpose Flour
    2 Tablespoons Suagr
    2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
    1/2 Teaspoon Salt
    1 Tablespoon Butter
    1/2 Cup Milk

    Recipe



    Bring berries, 1/3 cup sugar, salt, and water to boil in a 3 quart saucepan. Cover and simmer 5 minutes. Add lemon juice. Sift dry ingredients; cut in butter. Add milk all at once and stir only until flour is moistened. Drop batter from teaspoon into bubbling blueberries. Cover and cook 10 minutes; don't peek. Serve dumplings with sauce spooned over them. Add whipped topping if desired.
