List of Ingredients
3 Oranges
4 Cups Water
1 Cup Coarsely Grated Carrot
3 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
4 Cups Granulated Sugar
1 Cup Seedless RaisinsRecipe
Pare oranges and cut peel into very thin stips. Cook in water until tender. Add carrots and boil 10 minutes longer. Cut oranges into thin slices and add to carrot mixture. Add remaining ingredients. Boil, stirring frequently, until jelly stage is reached (222 degrees F., or when mixture will sheet from spoon). Pour into sterilized jars and seal at once with paraffin. Yields about 2-1/2 pints.
