Here is a great southern recipe for rabbit. A real delicacy for the true southern gentleman.
List of Ingredients
2 To 2 & 1/2 Pounds Fresh Rabbit Meat
1/2 Cup Flour
1 & 1/2 Teaspoons Salt
1/4 Teaspoon Pepper
Butter
Hot WaterRecipe
Wash rabbit under cold water. Combine flour, salt and pepper in a paper bag. Shake moist rabbit pieces in mixture to coat. Place rabbit in 1/4 inch hot butter in heavy skillet. Brown evenly on all sides. Remove to baking dish. Add 1/2 cup hot water, cover and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour or until tender. Serves 4.
