    Pork chops that will drive your taste buds crazy with delight. This is oriental cooking the way it should be.

    List of Ingredients




    8 Loin Pork Chops
    Salt To Taste
    2 To 3 Tablespoons Salad Oil
    1 Medium Onion, Thinly Sliced
    1/4 Cup Soy Sauce
    1/4 Cup Orange Juice
    2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
    4 Ounces Mushrooms, Sliced, Undrained
    1/2 Teaspoon Ground Ginger
    1/4 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
    1/2 Large Green Pepper, Cut Into Rings
    1/4 Cup Sliced Water Chestnuts
    1 Lemon, Thinly Sliced

    Recipe



    Season pork chops with salt; brown on both sides in hot oil. Place in a shallow 2 quart casserole dish; cover with onion slices. Combine soy sauce, orange juice, lemon juice, mushrooms, ginger and garlic powder; blend well. Pour over chops; cover and bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Add green pepper; water chestnuts and lemon slices; bake uncovered an additional 15 minutes. Yields 8 servings.
