    Here is a chocolate syrup recipe that beats any syrup you can buy at the local market. Try this, you'll love it!

    List of Ingredients




    1/2 Cup Sugar
    1 Tablespoon Baking Cocoa
    2 1/2 Teaspoons Cornstarch
    1/2 Cup Water
    2 Teaspoons Butter
    1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
    1 Quart Vanilla Ice Cream

    Recipe



    In a 1 quart microwave-safe dish, combine the sugar, cocoa, cornstarch and water until smooth. Cover and microwave on high for 4 minutes or until the mixture boils, stirring twice. Stir in butter and vanilla extract until blended. Serve warm over ice cream. Yields 6 servings.
