List of Ingredients
2 Eggs
1/4 Cup Half-And-Half
1/4 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
2 Tablespoons Margarine
3/4 Cup Finely Chopped Onions
2 Cups Peeled And Coarsely Shredded Turnips
1/2 Clove Garlic, Pressed
Salt And Pepper To Taste
Paprika To Garnish
2/3 Cup Seasoned CroutonsRecipe
Combine eggs, cream and cheese in a small bowl and set aside. Melt margarine in a small skillet on medium high. Saute onion until limp but not brown. Add turnips and cook for 4 minutes, stirring frequently. Cover and cook on medium-low for 3 to 4 minutes. Add garlic. Pour egg mixture over cooked turnips. Salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle lightly with paprika. Arrange croutons on top and bake uncovered in a 350 degree oven until firm, approximately 15 to 20 minutes. Serves 4.
