    This is a very delicous bread. Great to serve with Gumbo or even use as toasted Garlic Bread for Spaghetti. Very good all purpose loaf!


    List of Ingredients


    • 9-1/2 oz. water (1 cup + 3 Tbsp)
    • 3-1/2 cup bread flour
    • 1-1/2 tsp sugar
    • 1-1/2 tsp salt
    • 1 Tbsp butter
    • 2 tsp bread machine yeast


    Instructions


    1. Add ingredients into bread machine in order given by manufacturer. Select setting.
    2. The crust on French Bread does not get as dark as other breads as there is less fat and sugar in the recipe. For Chewier Crust, use Medium or dark setting. I use Light setting.
