Reese's Peanut Butter Chips Bag
Recipe Introduction
This is a great tasting cookie--especially if you like Reese's Peanut Butter Cups!
List of Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup cocoa
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1-1/4 cups (2-1/2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2tsp vanilla extract
- 1-2/3 cup (10 oz package) Reese's Peanut Butter Chips
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350 degrees. Stir together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. In large bowl, beat butter and sugar with electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Gradually add flour mixture, beating well. Stir in peanut butter chips. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 9 minutes. (Do not overbake; cookies will be soft. They will puff while baking and flatten while cooling.) Cool slightly; rmove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely. Makes About 4-1/2 dozen Cookies.
- Tip: When I make cookies, I always use the freshest of all ingredients. I ONLY use real, unsalted butter. The cookies taste better and turn out better, in my opinion. I have also found that using Parchment Paper on you cookies sheets yields a much better baking experience. Parchment paper can be used several times in the oven on the same cookie sheet. That way, if a cookie makes a mess, you only have to change the paper and not scrub the cookie sheet.
