Crockpot Hamburger Casserole

List of Ingredients
- 2 large potatoes, sliced ( or use hash browns)
- 2 to 3 Carrots sliced (or 1 can of carrots, drained)
- 1 (16oz) can of peas, drained
- 3 medium onions
- 1-1/2 pounds ground beef, browned
- 2 celery stalks, sliced
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 soup can of water (add Basil to soup and water)
Instructions
- Spray crockpot with cooking spray. Place vegetables in crockpot in order given, seasoning each with salt and pepper to taste. Put cooked ground beef on top of celery. Mix soup and water, adding basil. Pour over all. Cook on low 6 to 8 hours.
Final Comments
I have sometimes had a problem with potatoes being cooked in a crockpot. That's why I will sometimes substitute other pre-packaged potatoes like hash browns or french fries of some sort. They always turn out well cooked and tender.
