    List of Ingredients


    • 5 lbs. chuck roast
    • 3 cups water
    • 1 tsp. salt
    • 1 tsp black pepper
    • 1tsp oregano
    • 1 tsp basil
    • 1 tsp onion powder
    • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
    • 1 pkg. dry Italian salad dressing mix


    Instructions


    1. Trim excess fat from roast. Place roast in crockpot (I always spray my crockpot with cooking spray before putting any foods in it) Mix water with all seasonings and pour over roast. Cover and cook 8-10 hours.Remove meat; allow to cool slightly. Shred the meat, discading any fat. Return shredded meat to Crockpot and cook on high until heated through, 15-30 minutes. Use slotted spoon to serve meat on buns or rolls.
