    Recipe Introduction

This is a great way to use up any leftover watermelon. I recommend using the ripest watermelon for this recipe. You can freeze it then have watermelon in the Winter!! Also great for making frozen drinks!!!

    List of Ingredients

    • 8 cups peeled, seeded, chopped watermelon
    • 1-1/2 Tbsp lemon or lime juice
    • 1 cup sugar or honey (or to taste)

    Instructions

    1. Put all ingredients in a blender. Blend until liquified. Pour into freezer containers. Freeze until Ready to use.
    2. I usually just put this mixture in small containers so I can grab one from the freezer and get a spoon and start eating.
    3. To make a drink: Slightly thaw about a cup of the sorbet. Put in a blender with 1/4 cup water, and some ice. Blend until the consistency you want. Delicious on a HOT summer day!!!! You can also add more sugar if you want.
