This is a recipe passed down from Katerina's Great Grandmother. Great dish for potlucks and picnics. Holds up well.
List of Ingredients
2 lb. hamburger
1 lg. onion
1 green pepper
5 stalks celery
1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
2 cans (No. 2) red kidney beans
2 cans (No. 2) lima beans
1 lg. can baked beansRecipe
Brown hamburger and drain fat; add chopped onion, celery, and green pepper. Cook until tender. Drain and add beans and tomato sauce. Bake in casserole at 350 degrees F. for 45 minutes. Top with cheese if desired last 15 minutes. Excellent to freeze. Make a large amount. Can be divided into several small casseroles.
