    THIS RECIPE IS PASSED DOWN FROM KATERINA'S GREAT GREAT GREAT GRANDMA

    List of Ingredients




    2 c. sugar
    1 c. Crisco
    4 squares chocolate
    6 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 tsp. soda dissolved in water
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    Walnuts

    Recipe



    Cream shortening and sugar. Add melted chocolate squares. Add eggs and buttermilk. Mix soda with a small amount of water and add along with vanilla. Stir in flour. Frost with chocolate frosting and crushed walnuts.
