    SAFEWAY CHOCOLATE CHIPS/KATERINA KNORR

    List of Ingredients




    1 pkg (11.5 oz) milk chocolate chips, divided
    1/2 lb. (2 sticks) butter or margarine
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    4 large eggs
    1 cup all purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 c. mini marshmallows, divided
    1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts, divided

    Recipe



    Place 1 cup chocolate chips and butter in a large microwave safe bowl. Heat a 50% power for about 3 minutes until melted. Stir in sugar, cool slightly. Whisk in eggs. Stir in flour and salt. Stir in 1/2 cup chocolate chips, 2 cups mini marshmallows, and 1 cup walnuts. Pour into greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 30 minutes. Sprinkle top with 1/2 c. marshmallows, 1/2 c. nuts and 1/2 c. chocolate chips; press them in lightly. Return to oven for 2 minutes. Cool; refrigerate until firm. Cut into 1 1/2 inch squares. Makes 48 brownies.
