    Crab Won Tons

    Tuna or tiny shrimp can be substituted.
    Makes about 20 wontons


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 6 oz can crabmeat, picked over
    • 1 pkg wonton skins
    • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp onion & garlic powder, (your taste)
    • 1/4 tsp salt
    • 1 Tblsp fresh parsley, minced
    • 1 Tblsp Buttermilk Ranch dressing, (dry powder)
    • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
    • Flour paste made of 1 Tblsp flour, 3 Tblsp water for sealing skins


    Instructions


    1. Mix all ingredients except wonton skins.
    2. Lay wonton skin on wax paper, and coat edges with flour paste.
    3. Put about 1/2 tsp of the crab mixture on wonton skin, and roll and seal according to package directions.
    4. Deep fry in 350° oil until lightly browned.
    5. Serve with sweet/sour sauce or hot mustard


    Final Comments


    They may be made ahead several hours and refrigerated.
