6 ounces chocolate chips -- (1 c.)
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup rum
3 tablespoons light corn syrup
2 cups crushed vanilla wafers -- (44wafers)
1 cup ground walnuts

Melt chocolate chips over low heat. Remove from heat and add the 1/2 c. sugar, rum and corn syrup. Fold in vanilla wafer crumbs and walnuts. Shape into 1" balls, using two teaspoons for each. Roll in sugar. Store in an airtight container for several days.
