3 cups cranberries
1 orange
6 apples
1 lemon
1 pkg powdered fruit pectin
1 large can crushed pineapple -20 oz.
5 1/2 cups sugar
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
Wash cranberries Peel, core and chop apples Extract orange and lemon juice;discard seeds. Grind orange and lemon peels with a fine blade. Combine cranberies, apples, orange, lemon and pineapple in kettle. Bring to a boil. Add pectin and bring back to a boil. Add sugar, stirring constantly, and bring to a boil and boil hard 1 minute. Remove from heat; stir and skim alternately for 5 minutes. Add walnuts. Pour into hot jars and seal. Cook, label and store (Process 15 min. in boiling water bath.)Yield: 9 half-pints.
