    Peach Conserve

    Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
    -------- ------------ --------------------------------
    6 cups fresh peaches -- peeled and diced
    1 c. maraschino cherries
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 can crushed pineapple
    2 oranges
    6 cups sugar
    1 c. blanched almonds -- finely chopped

    Peel and chop peaches. Slice entire oranges very thin. Add cherry juice, sugar and salt. Simmer for about 30 minutes, until thickened. Add pineapple, chopped cherries and nuts. Pour into clean hot jars. Process in boiling water bath for 15 minutes.
