try this recipe. Found this surfing and was too curious for words.

    EXCELLENT. Absolutely!

    Never-fail Yeast Rolls

1 pkg (1/4 oz) active dry yeast
    1-1/2 cups warm water
    3-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 pkg (9 oz) yellow or white cake mix (Use 1/2 of a cake mix, save the other half for the next batch of bread)
    1/2 tsp salt
    Melted butter or margarine

Dissolve yeast in mixing bowl in warm water (110-115 dgrs). Takes about 5 minutes to dissolve. With mixer, mix in flour, dry cake mix and salt. Mix well. (DO NOT KNEAD). Place in a greased bowl. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour or so. Punch dough down, divide in half. Lightly flour your work area. Roll each portion into a 12-in circle; cut each circle into 12 wedges. Roll up, beginning at the wide end: place point side down on greased baking sheets. Brush with butter. Cover and let rise until doubled, about 1/2 hour. Bake at 350 dgrs for 12 - 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Tweak: Used 1/2 of a Golden Vanilla cake mix. I just cut them with a biscuit cutter. DIdn't use any butter. They were rich enough. SOOOOO good - and EZ!
