    Cracker Jack Cookies

    1 cup butter-soft
    1 cup sugar
    1 cup brown sugar (light)
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 cups sifted flour, level and sift again.
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 cups oatmeal
    2 cups rice krispies
    1 cup coconut


    Preheat oven to 350° F.

    Cream butter and sugars.

    Add eggs and vanilla.

    Sift dry ingredients and add to egg mixture.

    Stir in oatmeal, cereal, and coconut; beat well.

    Drop by teaspoonfuls 1/2 inch apart on cookie sheet.

    Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 13 minutes.
