Baked Macaroni & Cheese

List of Ingredients
2 large eggs well beaten
2 TBs. salt
2 cups uncooked elbow or short macaroni
¼ cup soft butter
2-2½ cups evaporated milk
1½ lbs. extra sharp cheddar cheese, grated
paprika
cayene pepper (optional)Recipe
Bring a large pot of water to a full rolling boil. Add the salt;Then add macaroni slowly so the water doesn't stop boiling.Boil for 12 minutes.stirring often. Do NOT over cook.and do not stop stirring.Meanwhile preheat your oven to 350º.After 12 minutes drain macaroni rinse with a little cold water quickly stir in the butter.Pour the beaten eggs into the evaporated milk.
put a layer of macaroni into a buttered 2 qt. casserole, then use a layer of cheese, then a layer of macaroni,another layer of cheese, continue until you use all ending with cheese on top.Pour the milk and egg mixtureover all, forking it through evenly, and top with a healthy sprinkling of paprika.Bake in oven uncovered for 45 minutes or until brown and bubbilicious!
