Vegetable Soup
1½ lbs. Ground chuck
4- 5 med. potatoes, cubed
½ lb. bag baby carrots, diced
4 celery ribs, cut up
1 med. onion, diced
1-16oz. can cut green beans
1-16oz. can whole kernel corn
2 cups spaghetti sauce
3- 4 cups water
1 tsp. garlic powder
salt & pepper to taste.
1.In a lg. pot brown gr. beef with onion,garlic powder,salt and pepper; drain off grease.
2.Add potatoes,carrots ,celery, spaghetti sauce and water. bring to a boil and simmer about 15 minutes.
3. Add green beans,and corn including juices.Cover and simmer another 15 minutes.
4. you may add other canned or fresh vegetables, add more water if you do.
Serve with hot cornbread.
