Go home.
Unwrap the apple pie, carefully folding the wrapper and pie tin and placing them at the bottom of your trashcan. Better yet, bring your pie plate with you to the store and unwrap the pie in the parking lot, disposing of the wrapper and pie tin at the grocery store.
Light up several "baked apple pie" candles in your kitchen and living room.
Snuff out candles at the first ring of the doorbell.
