List of Ingredients
1 pound angel food cake
2 1/2 cups strawberries
10 packet Splenda No Calorie Sweetener
3 cup Cool Whip Free Whipped Topping
8 oz light cream cheese
4 serving(s) strawberry sugar free gelatin mix
Recipe
Reserve several pretty heart-shaped strawberries for garnish. Cap and cut up remaining strawberries into small pieces, Sprinkle with Splenda, stir and set aside.
You Can use frozen, thawed berries, try adding a cap of vanilla.
Remove top 1/4th of the angelfood cake. Set aside top. Then make a "shell" by hollowing out the remainder of the cake by cutting and pinching out the inside of cake leaving a bottom and walls in the shape of an "o".
Set aside torn cake pieces from inside. Add softened cream cheese to a large bowl. Add Cool Whip Free, stir to combine. Sprinkle in dry strawberry gelatin mix until desired flavor. (Until it suites your taste).
Stir in the strawberries and the torn up cake pieces. Add all this back into the angelfood cake shell packing in and then top with the top you cut off before. It will now be taller than the cake- that's ok. Let it rise above so when you replace the top it shows the filling. Ice the top of the cake top with the remaining Cool Whip Free. Garnish with reserved strawberries on top. Keep in refridgerator. Serve chilled
