Kelly's Simple Crockpot Chili

- coarse ground beef
- onions
- sweet green peppers
- assorted peppers
- canned crushed tomatoes
- canned black beans
- canned dark red kidney beans
- canned light red kidney beans
- canned navy beans
- chopped green onions
- sour cream
- shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- chili powder, salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 and roast all peppers except sweet green pepper. Let cool.
- Brown beef and add to crockpot. Add crushed tomatoes and turn crockpot to high for 2-3 hours or low for 6 hours or more.
- Sautee chopped yellow onion and sweet green pepper lightly in the beef skillet in order to just release the sugars. Add to crockpot.
- Scrape seeds from the peppers, chop and add. If you like spicier chili, add some of the seeds from the habaneros or jalapenos.
- Add all the beans and spices. Taste and adjust.
