    Kelly's Simple Crockpot Chili

    List of Ingredients


    • coarse ground beef
    • onions
    • sweet green peppers
    • assorted peppers
    • canned crushed tomatoes
    • canned black beans
    • canned dark red kidney beans
    • canned light red kidney beans
    • canned navy beans
    • chopped green onions
    • sour cream
    • shredded sharp cheddar cheese
    • chili powder, salt and pepper to taste


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 350 and roast all peppers except sweet green pepper. Let cool.

    2. Brown beef and add to crockpot. Add crushed tomatoes and turn crockpot to high for 2-3 hours or low for 6 hours or more.

    3. Sautee chopped yellow onion and sweet green pepper lightly in the beef skillet in order to just release the sugars. Add to crockpot.

    4. Scrape seeds from the peppers, chop and add. If you like spicier chili, add some of the seeds from the habaneros or jalapenos.

    5. Add all the beans and spices. Taste and adjust.
