French Apple Cobber

Cathy doesn't always have exact ingredient amounts. You will have to feel your way a bit.
List of Ingredients
- 5 cups sliced apples
- sugar (to taste, at least 1 cup)
- 2 T all purpose flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 T soft butter
- 1 cup ? flour
- 1 cup ? sugar
- 1/2 ? tsp baking powder
- 1/4? tsp salt
- 2 T soft butter or margarine
- 1 egg slightly beaten
Instructions
- Mix first 7 ingredients together and place in a 9x13 pan.
- Mix the last 6 ingredients together and drop by spoonfuls on top of the apple mixture
- Bake at 375 for 35-40 minutes. Crust will be golden brown and crispy.
