    Cathy doesn't always have exact ingredient amounts. You will have to feel your way a bit.


    List of Ingredients


    • 5 cups sliced apples
    • sugar (to taste, at least 1 cup)
    • 2 T all purpose flour
    • 1 tsp cinnamon
    • 1/4 tsp salt
    • 1 tsp vanilla
    • 1 T soft butter
    • 1 cup ? flour
    • 1 cup ? sugar
    • 1/2 ? tsp baking powder
    • 1/4? tsp salt
    • 2 T soft butter or margarine
    • 1 egg slightly beaten


    Instructions


    1. Mix first 7 ingredients together and place in a 9x13 pan.
    2. Mix the last 6 ingredients together and drop by spoonfuls on top of the apple mixture
    3. Bake at 375 for 35-40 minutes. Crust will be golden brown and crispy.
