    1 C dry starch
    1/2 C cold water
    1 1/2 cups boiling water
    3/4 C powdered detergent soap
    Powdered tempera paint
    Food coloring

    Recipe



    Mix starch and cold water in a large glass bowl. Add hot water and stir rapidly. Add soap and stir until smooth. Add tempera paint and food coloring until you reach the desired color. Store in airtight container.
