    This is just a test idea that turned out very well. I used Krusteaz mix for the gingerbread and canned lemon frosting. Now that I know how well this turned out, I have to start testing from-scratch gingerbread and my own lemon buttercream.

    Gingerbread Cupcakes
    Lemon Buttercream frosting
    Candied ginger
    Candied lemon peel

    Recipe



    Frost cupcakes. Top with a thin slice of ginger and lemon peel.
