    I needed to make a yellow cake for someone and I still haven't found a scratch yellow cake recipe that I really love. I have had good success with the fix-ups that Anne Byrn has created. This makes a very moist, dense cake. You can use any flavor cake mix and ice cream that you like - I used yellow cake mix and French vanilla ice cream. I used my giant cupcake pan to make the cake and one recipe made a full cake.

    List of Ingredients




    Baker's Secret spray for spraying pan
    1 (18.25 oz.) plain white cake mix
    2 c. melted ice cream, any flavor
    3 large eggs

    Recipe



    Mist a 12 cup Bundt cake pan with Baker's Secret.

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, mix the cake mix, ice cream and eggs on low with an electric mixer for 1 minute. Stop mixing and scrape down the sides of the bowl. Mix on medium speed for about 2 minutes. The batter should be smooth and thick. Pour into the prepared pan and smooth the top.

    Bake for 38-42 minutes, until it passes the toothpick test. Cool for 20 minutes in the pan on a wire rack and then turn out to cool completely on the rack. Frost as desired.
