    Grandma Jean's Pimento Cheese

    Source of Recipe

    My grandmother, Jean Easterwood

    Recipe Introduction

This, along with Aunt San's is the pimento cheese that I grew up with. Unfortunately, I never got Aunt San's recipe, but I did get Grandma Jean's. So good. You can add some Durkee sauce and Worcestershire. It's also good to substitute green olives with pimentos for the pimentos, for a change of pace.

    List of Ingredients

    1/2 lb. cheddar cheese
    1/2 lb. American cheese
1/2 of a large package of cream cheese
    1 jar chopped pimento
    Mayonnaise

    Recipe

Grate cheese. Drain pimento and mix into cheese. Add cream cheese and mix well. Add mayo until it is the right consistancy. Refrigerate for a couple of hours.
