Hot Crabmeat Dip

List of Ingredients
- 3 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1 small onion, grated
- 2/3 c. Miracle Whip
- 1/2 t. garlic powder
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1/2 t. pepper
- 1/4 c. dry white wine or dry vermouth
- 2 t. prepared mustard
- 2 t. prepared horseradish
- 1 lb. fresh lump crabmeat, drained
- 2 T. chopped fresh chives
- 2 T. fresh parsley, minced
Instructions
- Combine the first 9 ingredients in a saucepan; cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat until cream cheese melts.
- Stir in crabmeat and remaining ingredients. Transfer to a chafing dish (or crockpot on low) and keep warm.
Final Comments
Makes 6 cups.
Serve with crackers or bread. Really good with a crusty bagette.
