    GF Cocktail Meatballs

    Recipe Introduction

This is just a standard meatball recipe made with gluten free ingredients. According to the Heinz website, their chili sauce is GF. This was very popular at our Christmas Eve open house - the only thing that we had NO leftovers of.

    List of Ingredients

1 pound Ground Chuck or Ground Round
1/2 cup gluten free bread crumbs
    1/3 cup finely chopped onions
    1/4 cup milk
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp snipped Parsley
    1 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp Worchester sauce
    1/8 tsp pepper
1 (12 oz.) bottle gluten free Chili Sauce
1 (10 oz.) jar Grape Jelly

    Recipe

    Heat oven to 350 degrees.

Gently mix together the beef, bread crumbs, onion, milk, eggs, parsley, salt, Worchester sauce and pepper. Form into 1-inch balls (I used a mini-ice cream scoop to portion out and then rolled into balls with wet hands). Place on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 20-30 minutes.

In a small saucepan heat the jelly and chili sauce, stir until well mixed. Place the meatballs in a slow cooker and cover with the jelly mixture. Stir gently and heat on low until heated through.

    Makes about 20 meatballs.
