    Pillsbury Classic Cookbooks: “Shortcut Suppers”

    Recipe Introduction

Really good. Buy the best crusty rolls you can find, use “Better than Bouillon” stock mix and the best quality deli beef you can get! The fasted weeknight meal I have!

    List of Ingredients

    ½ t. crushed garlic
    2 t. oil
    1 (14 ½ oz.) can ready-to-serve beef broth
12 oz. thinly sliced deli roast beef
4 mini-baguettes or hoagie rolls, split

    Recipe

In a large saucepan over medium heat, cook garlic in oil 1 – 2 minutes or until garlic is tender. Add beef broth; heat to a simmer. Add beef and heat just until beef is heated through, about 1 minute. Remove meat from broth and arrange evenly in baguettes. Pour broth into 4 small bowls. Serve sandwiches with broth for dipping.

    Serves 4.
