    Kim's Banana Cream Pie

    List of Ingredients


    • 3/4 C Sugar
    • 1/3 C Flour
    • 1/4 tsp Salt
    • 2 C Milk
    • 3 Slightly beaten Egg Yolks
    • 2 T Butter or Margarine
    • 1 tsp Vanilla
    • 3 sliced Bananas
    • CRUST:
    • 1 1/2 C fine Graham Cracker Crumbs (about 18 Crackers)
    • 1/4 C Sugar
    • 1/2 C Melted Butter


    Instructions


    1. Make Crust first combining all ingredients and pressing firmly in 8 inch Pie Pan.

    2. Bake in 375 oven about 8 minutes or until golden brown.(I make extra graham cracker mix to sprinkle on top.

    3. Filling: In Saucepan combine sugar, flour and salt. Gradually stir in Milk.

    4. Cook and stir over medium heat till mixture boils and thickens.

    5. Remove from heat

    6. Stir small amount of hot mixture into yolks and add yolk mixture to the pan.

    7. Cook for 2 minutes stirring constantly

    8. Remove from heat and add butter and Vanilla

    9. Cool to room temperature (I put it in the Frig to hurry it along)

    10. Slice 3 Banana's into prepared pie crust and pour cooled pudding mixture over. If you made extra graham cracker crust mix crumble over the top

    11. Cool and serve!
