    Mom's Stuffing


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lb. Sausage
    • 1 loaf bread
    • 1 onion
    • celery
    • 1 egg
    • sage
    • garlic salt
    • onion salt
    • pepper
    • turkey to stuff


    Instructions


    1. Heat sausage till grease melts
    2. In large bowl tear bread into small pieces
    3. add other ingredients except egg. Chop onions, and celery and add to bread mixture
    4. add cooled sausage and the egg and squish and mix till all is moistened a small amount of warm water may be added if needed
    5. prepare turkey by removing neck etc.
    6. Rinse turkey
    7. Stuff with stuffing mixture in both neck and body cavity
    8. Rub turkey with butter and a cooking bag can be used at this point to hurry the cooking process
    9. Bake at 350 degrees untill internal tempeture of turkey is done
    10. If you have extra stuffing or like crunchy stuffing it can be baked in a seperate casserole dish
