Feather-Lite Dinner Rolls

1 1/2 c. warm potato water
1/3 c. sugar
3 pkg. dry yeast (or 1 large cake household yeast)
1/2 c. plain mashed potatoes, packed
2/3 c. veg. oil
2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. warm water
8 c. flour (approx.)Recipe
Dissolve yeast and sugar in the 1/12 c. warm potato water. Add 4 c. flour, potatoes, oil, salt and the 1 1/2 c. warm water. Beat until smooth. Gradually add remaining 3-4 c. flour to make a medium-soft dough. Make a ball. Place in oiled bowl. Cover and let rise until double. Punch down, cover and let rise again.
Shape into 36 balls. Arrange side by side in 2 greased 9x13 pans. Cover and let rise. Bake at 375° for 15-20 minutes. Brush tops with butter.
