1 box Chocolate Fudge cake mix
2 pounds ricotta cheese
3/4 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
TOPPING:
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1 box (3 3/4 oz.) instant chocolate pudding
1 c. milk
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip, thawed
Recipe
Prepare cake as directed on box and pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 pan. In separate bowl, combine ricotta, sugar, eggs, and vanilla; mix well. Spoon over unbaked cake. Bake at 350° cake for 1 1/4 hours, or until done.
(Cheese layer will sink to bottom of cake).
Cool completely.
For topping, beat cream cheese until creamy. Add instant pudding and milk. Mix well; fold in whipped topping. Spread over cake. Refrigerate.
Note: If baking in glass dish, bake at 325°
