    Cantonese Casserole

    Recipe Introduction


    Great for left-over ham.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen french style green beans
    • 1 Tablespoon butter or margarine
    • 1 Tablespoon flour
    • 3/4 cup milk
    • 2 Tablespoons soy sauce
    • 1 cup sour cream
    • 2 cups diced cooked ham
    • 1 (5 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and thinly sliced
    • 1/2 cup bread crumbs


    Instructions


    1. Cook beans as directed and drain well. Set aside.

    2. In saucepan, melt butter; blend in flour.

    3. Gradually stir in milk and soy sauce.

    4. Cook and stir until mixture thickens.

    5. Add sour cream, ham, beans and water chestnuts.

    6. Pour into 11X7 greased baking dish.

    7. Sprinkle bread crumbs on top.

    8. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
