Cantonese Casserole
Recipe Introduction
Great for left-over ham.
List of Ingredients
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen french style green beans
- 1 Tablespoon butter or margarine
- 1 Tablespoon flour
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 Tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups diced cooked ham
- 1 (5 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
Instructions
- Cook beans as directed and drain well. Set aside.
- In saucepan, melt butter; blend in flour.
- Gradually stir in milk and soy sauce.
- Cook and stir until mixture thickens.
- Add sour cream, ham, beans and water chestnuts.
- Pour into 11X7 greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle bread crumbs on top.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
