    Frosty Strawberry Dessert


    This is a wonderful light and creamy dessert.

    Frosty Strawberry Dessert
    Crust:
    1 c. flour
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    Mix until crumbly in 9x13 pan. Bake at 350* for 20 minutes, stirring every 5
    minutes (to keep mixture crumbly). Cool and reserve 1/4 c. for topping.
    Distribute remaining mixture in bottom of the pan.

    Filling:
    2 egg whites
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. strawberries with juice (or 1 (10 oz.) pkg., thawed)
    8 oz. thawed cool whip
    In large bowl, combine egg whites, sugar and strawberries. Beat 15 minutes
    until stiff peaks form. Fold in cool whip. Spoon mixture over crust.
    Sprinkle reserved crumbs on top. Put in freezer for at least 8 hours. Keep
    in freezer until ready to serve.
